The cleaning of the ambient air polluted by foreign bodies is carried out by vacuum recirculation. The purifier fan produces a vacuum and draws in stale air. It passes through the cleaning system with its filter modules.
Depending on the configuration of the filtration system, it allows the filtration of coarse and fine dust (pre-filter), gas and odours (broad spectrum pellet filter or activated carbon filter) and bacteria and viruses (filter for suspended particles). When the purification is complete, the filtered air is then released into the ambient air.
Different types of filters can purify the polluted air. Coarse filters, fine filters and particulate filters are distinguished. These three types of filters are intended to filter and remove foreign particles in the ambient air. There are also active carbon filters and aluminium oxide ceramic catalytic filters for the filtration of gases and odours.
Depending on the application, it may be necessary to use individual filters or a combination of filters of different classes.
